Return of Property Inventoried by E.P.P.D

                                                                                                                                                                                   

Information Regarding the Return of Property Inventoried by the Evergreen Park Police Department (E.P.P.D.).

 

When attempting to obtain property that has been inventoried by E.P.P.D., please follow the instructions below.


Property Available to be Returned to Owner:

Hours and Days of obtaining property are Monday -Friday from 7:00am to 2:30pm.

If you are the owner in which the property was confiscated from, you must show proof of ownership. If you are not the owner, you must provide a notarized letter from the owner or be listed as designated person allowing you to take custody of such item(s).

If you are unable to pick up property within 30 days from the time of confiscation, you must contact The Evergreen Park Police Department regarding availability to pick up the property.

 

You have 30 days upon release from custody to retrieve the property. Any property not picked up within 30 days will be disposed of thereafter.

 

Property Held By E.P.P.D. as Evidence:

An Order signed by a Cook County Judge must be presented at the time of request.

Court Case must be complete and authorized for release.

Property is not subject to Forfeiture Laws.
