The Evergreen Park Youth Department was founded on the belief that youth, when given the opportunity, will make responsible choices and valuable contributions to the community. Our goal is to develop and implement a diverse program of activities that will offer the youths in grade 5 through high school a wide range of positive developmental activities, such as:
Employment Referral Services
Refers teens to residents in need of workers and businesses seeking employees.
Teens available for raking leaves, cutting grass, snow shoveling and lighter odd jobs for Evergreen Park residents. Please keep in mind that our youths are elementary school kids and will not be permitted to move heavy objects; nor can they be expected to do more advanced projects that should be done by professionals (window washing, moving furniture, etc.) For this, you may want to check the Evergreen Park Courier and look for a professional handyman. That being said, please call (708) 229-3377 to explain the nature of service that you are requesting.
Teens available to help many service clubs and charitable organizations. The Youth Commission's Annual Coat Drive will again run from October 1 through November 30. You may drop off any new or clean used coat to the Community Center.
