Ice Rink Day By Day
Although we welcome the warmer weather (wishing of course that it was less wet), it does cause a little more maintenance at the Ice Rink.    Hours for this week will be day to day, and you can get daily updates by calling (708) 229-3373.


Recycling Carts Now Emptied Weekly!
No more checking the calendar for the alternating weeks!   Waste Management will now pick up your recycling weekly.  This is the blue can with the green lid, into which you can dispose of paper, cardboard, some plastics and aluminum cans. These must be put in the container loose, and not in a plastic bag.  Waste Management will soon be providing you with a complete list of do's and don't's.   In addition. . they will soon be providing Electronic Recycling pickup service from your curbside as well!  (The E-Waste Garage at 93rd/Sawyer is now closed).  Again, more information coming very soon. . .stay tuned!

EP Historical Commission Looking For Volunteers
With 125th Anniversary events in the works for this summer, the Historical Commission is looking for volunteers who like good, old-fashioned art and craft projects.  Display boards are being created and extra hands are needed for cutting, pasting and miscellaneous creativity.   Folks who might be interested are asked to drop an email to for more information.


Online Payment Service Now Available on Water Bills
You can now pay your water bill online, either in full. . or better yet, with smaller payments (paid any time) that can keep your balance low.  Get the details now!

no sooner than 6pm the night before your scheduled pickup.

SAVING  FOR SOUTHEAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Please save your Box Top labels (see www.btfe.com).  You can drop them off in the office or send them to school with your child.  You are also asked to turn in your used, dried out markers, highlighters and dry erase markers (any brand).  Southeast School is part of Crayola's Colorcycle Program.
