A Message from Mayor Kelly Burke
I am thrilled to announce that our community is expanding with new businesses that are sure to bring excitement and opportunity to the Village. We have seen a variety of great businesses approved for business licenses recently. This is a testament to our healthy business climate and the great support our community provides to local businesses. Here are just a few of the new businesses opening soon in Evergreen Park.
First up is Chipotle. This national chain specializes in tacos, bowls, and burritos made to order. The business license was just approved at the May 15 Board meeting. They will be opening later this year at 3259 W. 95th St. The location will also have a drive-up window for online and phone orders.
Next, we have Ichiddo Ramen, a small chain based in Minneapolis. The full-service, sit-down restaurant specializes in authentic Japanese ramen dishes. They will be opening in early summer and I encourage you to stop by and try them out at 9646 S. Western.
Aries Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts academy that provides training for ages 12 plus and for all skill levels. Owner Malik Elliott is an Evergreen Park resident and a former D1 Collegiate wrestler. Whether you are interested in self-defense or competition, the experienced instructors there will help you achieve your goals. They are now open and you can find them at 10200 S. Kedzie.
Toast It Iz, located at 9204 S Western, will be a restaurant serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They plan to be open for business later this year.
Biggby Coffee is a well-known coffee chain that serves up delicious coffee, other drinks, and snacks that are sure to give you the boost you need to get through your day. Visit them at 3150 W. 95th St. when they open early this summer.
If you are looking for a quick bite for lunch or dinner, Evergreen Charleys will be opening this summer at 2620 W 95th St. Here you will find cheesesteaks, fries, wings, real-fruit lemonades, and frozen shakes.
Finally, we have Party Blossom Boutique, a new florist opening later this year. They will offer flowers for purchase at the store, along with balloons and balloon sculptures, and floral arrangements for special events. The boutique will offer a variety of items perfect for any occasion, from birthdays to weddings and everything in between. They will be located at 9539 S. Pulaski.
I am thrilled to see our Village grow and prosper with these new businesses. Let us all show our support by visiting and patronizing them often.
