Pete’s Market to be constructed at 95th Street and Lawndale
The Village of Evergreen Park has a strong commitment to the businesses in the community. “Keep the green in Evergreen” is an on going campaign that asks the residents of our community to support local merchants first, not only to maintain a thriving business community but as a way to generate local tax dollars.
Evergreen Park has been the home to many of our business for years and at the same time welcomes new businesses on a consistent basis. We are all very excited about the arrival of Pete’s Market to be constructed at 95th Street and Lawndale. This will be a full service supermarket with ample parking. The second development targeted for the southwest corner of 95th Street and Kedzie Avenue will greatly enhance the appearance of Evergreen’s central business intersection. The new development will be incorporated in and around Gem electric which has chosen to stay at its current location. Gem Electric is one of those businesses that have been a part of our community for a very long time and all are encouraged to use their services. Directly across the street shoppers can conveniently park and visit Oberweiss Dairy, Jimmy John’s sandwiches, Crispy Clean Dry Cleaners as well as the UPS store.
Some of the areas best restaurants call Evergreen Park home, such as Chi-Tung at 96th and Kedzie, Roseangelas Pizza at 2807 W. 95th Street and Golden Griddle at 3010 W. 95th Street. We also welcome back the Greco family who are opening Greco’s of Evergreen Park, Don Lupe’s Mexican Grill and the Wing Zone at 2849 W. 95th Street.
