Youth Department
The Evergreen Park Youth Department was founded on the belief that youth, when given the opportunity, will make responsible choices and valuable contributions to the community.
Our goal is to develop and implement a diverse program of activities that will offer the youths in grade 5 through high school a wide range of positive developmental opportunities.
Teens are available for:
- Raking leaves
- Cutting grass
- Weeding
- Planting
- Snow shoveling
- Light odd jobs for Evergreen Park residents.
Please keep in mind that our youths are elementary school/ high school kids and will not be permitted to move heavy objects; nor can they be expected to do more advanced projects that should be done by professionals (window washing, moving furniture, etc.)
For this, you may want to check the Evergreen Park Courier and look for a professional handyman. Please call (708) 229-3377 to explain the nature of the service that you are requesting.
Teens are available to help many service clubs and charitable organizations. The Youth Department’s Annual Coat Drive will again run from October 1 through November 30. You may drop off any new or clean used coat at the Community Center.
